How to Select Grow Lights for Cannabis Cultivation?

As a light-loving, short-day crop, and late-maturing varieties crop, cannabis is more sensitive to light. Therefore, it is necessary to pay special attention to the lighting condition when growing cannabis in greenhouses. The lack of light may lead to slow growth and decrease the THC and CBD concentrations in cannabis. Cannabis needs a high light intensity to grow, so it is important to pay attention to the transmittance, light intensity and light time in the greenhouse.

Grow light is a great choice to provide supplementing light for cannabis. But the wattage of the light should be taken into consideration, since high power lights can meet the lighting demand of cannabis. At the same time, the lights also should be waterproof if the temperature is higher in the greenhouse, and the environment is moisture. Last but not least, also ensure that the lights are of good heat dissipation which can prolong the lifespan of the lights.
